With 7 months left till the end of my maternity leave, I decided that the best way to keep the memories of these precious times in one place, is, besides photos, writing a blog. Although I wonder why this idea hasn't occurred to me earlier, I am amused at this very thought of wondering so, as there is absolutely no way I could have blogged during the first four months of my son's life. Even though most of my days are still spent feeding, soothing, and trying to put the little one to sleep, it has now become possible to take an occasional stroll - sometimes as long as three hours long - with my son in the carrier that he is thankfully being cooperative about. He likes exploring the surroundings and so do I, always have liked, which makes the walks we have started taking especially enjoyable. So here I start the account of our walks in Tokyo in particular as well as my life-crafting in Japan in general being a foreigner here and also a first time mom to a mixed race baby.
